• Device information – Device model, OS version, and unique device identifiers (used for ads & crash reporting)

• Files you open – PDF files are processed locally on your device only and are never uploaded to our servers
• Ad interaction data – Collected by Google AdMob & Unity Ads under their own privacy policies

• Operate and improve app features (PDF viewing, editing, OCR, text-to-speech)
• Display relevant advertisements to keep the app free
• Diagnose crashes and fix bugs
• Understand which features are most valuable to users
• Comply with legal obligations

Our app integrates the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

DocuPDF Reader & Editor is a free app supported by advertisements via Google AdMob and Unity Ads.

These services may use your device's advertising ID and other identifiers to serve personalized ads. You can opt out:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
• You may also reset your Advertising ID at any time in device settings

The app may request the following device permissions:

• Storage / Files – To open, read, and save PDF files on your device
• Internet – To load advertisements and check for updates
• Network State – To detect connectivity before loading ads
• Text-to-Speech – To read PDF content aloud

All permissions are used solely for the stated purposes and are never abused.

Your PDF files and documents are stored only on your device. App settings (language, theme, preferences) are saved locally using SharedPreferences.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect any data we process. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

DocuPDF Reader & Editor is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us immediately and we will promptly delete such data.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access – Request access to the data we hold about you
• Deletion – Request deletion of your personal data
• Opt-out – Opt out of personalized advertising at any time
• Correction – Request correction of inaccurate data

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, via an in-app notification.
